How FedGrantFinder works
Four steps from a keyword to an official application. Optional account features never sit in front of search.
Step 1
Search
Type what you need funding for — rural broadband, youth mental health, workforce training. Results come from currently open U.S. federal opportunities published on Grants.gov.
Step 2
Filter
Narrow by who can apply (nonprofit, small business, individual, tribe, government, university), which state the grant covers, how soon it closes, and award size. Statewide and nationwide listings both appear when they are open to you.
Step 3
Read the grant card
Each card shows the deadline, award range when the agency published one, the funding agency, and a short synopsis. Open the grant page for eligibility notes and the official opportunity number.
Step 4
Apply on Grants.gov
FedGrantFinder is a discovery layer. Applications are submitted on Grants.gov or the agency URL the listing points to. We do not accept applications and we do not decide awards.
Saving grants and creating an account is optional. You can browse every open listing without signing in.
