About FedGrantFinder

FedGrantFinder is a free web app that searches currently open U.S. federal grant opportunities published on Grants.gov, filtered by who can apply, which state they cover, deadline, and award size. It is an independent tool — not a government website and not a list of private-foundation grants — and it updates overnight from the public Grants.gov data feed so nonprofits, small businesses, individuals, tribes, governments, and universities can skip listings they cannot apply for.

Who it's for

Nonprofits, small businesses, individuals, tribes, state and local governments, and universities who need to find currently open U.S. federal grant opportunities they can actually apply for — filtered by applicant type, state, deadline, and award size.

What it is not

FedGrantFinder is not a government website, not affiliated with the U.S. government, and not a list of private-foundation or corporate grants. It does not accept applications, evaluate eligibility, or award funds. Using the site does not guarantee that you qualify for a grant or that you will receive one.

Where the data comes from

Listings are synced overnight from the public Grants.gov data feed. The catalogue is a discovery layer over that feed, not a replacement for it.

How you apply

You still apply on Grants.gov (or the agency application URL the listing points to). FedGrantFinder helps you find and shortlist open opportunities; the federal site is where applications are submitted.

Privacy

Browsing and searching do not require an account. If you create one to save grants, see the Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.
